Incredibly happy with this purchase for my ACRO 1010 laser build. Everything was so simple to install, flashing firmware is quick and easy. I highly recommend this for anyone looking to upgrade or build their machines.

Purchased BlackBox as an upgrade to Sculpfun S9 controller. Had installed limit switches and was not successful getting them to work properly with S9 controller (switches from OpenBuilds). Maybe my inexperience was in play here, but I was not comfortable with support from Sculpfun, and read that OpenBuild support was excellent. Traced wire continuity for all cables terminating at BlackBox. Was successful. Using Lightburn. Limit switches work now. Just playing with GRBL settings to understand the options. Noob friendly.

I swapped out my X-Carve X-Controller for this & it's so much smaller & sexier! The real upgrade was the ability to change the power to each motor. Everything ships fast & is packed with extra care. I look forward to make next machine & using OpenBuilds!
