nema 23 high torque
installed on a old X, Y plasma machine. it has the torque to move the 10' x 6' gantry just fine and at speed up to 80 ipm.

These motors are a huge improvement from my old motors. They barely get warm.

Nema 23 high torque stepper motor
I had a Router machine that I am converting to Openbuilds, my existing motors work fine but they were getting really hot to the touch so I bought an openbuilds one to see if there is any difference, and yes the outcome was night an day so I ended up buying two more
