V-Slot® Linear Rail

V-Slot Linear Rail aluminum extrusion profile is the ultimate solution combining both linear motion and a modular, structural framing system. It's lightweight yet rigid and provides an ultra smooth track for precise motion.

OpenBuilds created V-Slot Linear Rail aluminum extrusion profile and has added a library of compatible modular parts which today is known as the OpenBuilds System. We have shipped over one million feet of V-Slot and counting to businesses, classrooms, laboratories and makers all over the world!

Ender 3 Pro 500 mm Upgrade

Having found a very tired Ender 3 Pro that was missing every component above the bed I thought I might build a 500mm version of this work horse. Using your black 20x40x500mm, 20x20x500mm extrusions I was able to build a very nice printer with a usable Z height of 470mm. This baby is sweet and A big thanks to OpenBuilds for having all the build parts to make this project a success. It would be great if we could add a picture or two of our projects for everyone to see. Best Regards Doc'

Defect free and sturdy

I was surprised how sturdy these are and how well they cut with a metal cutting circular saw blade.

Best Place to buy extrusion

I bought these extrusions from OpenBuilds because the prices on Amazon were outrageous. Came quickly (1 day early!) and was packed very well. Tap Ready holes were amazing and the rail was very good tolerance wise. Will definitely buy again!

V-SLOT® 20X20 LINEAR RAIL

Used this rail to add strength and stiffness to my Z axis, an additional beam above the C-Beam I already had on my X axis. Very stiff and reliable.
