Black Box
I love the Black Box. Problem with a motor? There's a light for that. Need to use the probe? There's a connection for that. It is easy to assemble but if you're unsure of anything there's a very good assembly video on YouTube. I am very satisfied and would happily recommend.

Blackbox
The black box reduced the overall electrical hardware by a factor of four. It was plug and play. Easy to wire to my existing stepper motors. I built my CNC from plans in the Woodsmith magazine. and I have a much better movement along the y axis. One issue, better documentation on setting up soft limits.

BlackBox control. Needs better documentation.
Pretty simple to hook up and get running. I do wish there was more info on customizing for machines that are NOT Openbuilds machines. Info is kind of tough to find but so far a good all in one controller.

Blackbox
This controller is great, and Openbuilds technical support and customer service is hands down the best I’ve ever experienced! I found this company when I was looking for a controller for a machine I had already built, and I wish I had found them sooner. If I build another machine in the future, I will be using Openbuilds parts for sure.

The more I use this the more I like it
I have transitioned from a tinyG controller along with the ChiliPeppr web based controller. I find this much more convenient (after a small learning curve), with much better arc and circle cuts, even at 1/8 stepping.
